Very good Dominic Give me a call
Legend! Should add the name of the bleeding tool in the description and get commisioned on sales! :)
Any advice on a Bentone B 10 E oil burner. Is it Kerosene or gas oil or both?
I was enjoying that insight. Dont forget to turn the fuel back on Fred! (slight of hand) Hows life treating you Fred? Smiffy, Safe and Sound.
Subtitles would be good in this instance. UA-cam subtitles don't work. It thinks solenoid is sunlight for example!
😂 i live in ireland. Got used to an accent
thanks worcester boiler fired up again after 6 month empty kerosene tank.. gravity bleed wasnt doing it... turning pump on was the trick until all the air was out then she roared again!!
Great info, thanks.
Great video 👍🏻
Hi I have a WarmGlow BlueBird 70/90 Burner that worked for Years that worked for years but stopped working last year. When i tried restarting it recently ,The Power kept tripping. The front panel of the Burner had a Lock at the Bottom of it.When i went to take the front panel off the key was nowhere to be found so i drilled the lock. I Checked the Tank and it was half full. Next , I checked the power going to the Pump ,it was ok, I checked the power going to the Burner that was ok. I checked the tank in the attic and that Tank was full. The situation at the momeNt is ,The Burner is working , But the Radiators are not heating up. I would be extremely grateful for any advice /Help available Kind Regards Peter.
So when no fule comes out of the bleed nipple, what next

Thank you sir . Watching your video fixed mine . I’ve never touched anything related to that . Around 11:00 pm my wife told me it’s cold in the house . Than she went to sleep . I turn the hot water to wash up before going to bed . I noticed only cold freezing water ! No hot water . So I went downstairs to see if we have any oil in the tank ! What I found is absolutely no oil ! Tank is dry empty! I woke the wife to order oil . She did online but it would take 2 - 3 days for them to come ! After online searching I learned I can put some diesel 5 gallons or so and it should let us go by for a few days . Drove up to gas station and brought 10 gallons of diesel. Por it into the tank & it won’t fire up ! Search online and found your video . Fallowing your steps and I start bleeding it until I got normal flow of oil than the miracle happened. Thanks to you man we’re back in business . Best regards to you stay safe and keep the good work . God bless you 😀😀😅
Device used isn't needed. Great video thanks
I have rung the screw on the bleed valve..... what do i do now?
other sources saying the Allen key grub screw on the left side is the correct one for bleeding. here he's using the pressure valve with an extra adapter ?!
Thanks Freddie! Saved from a house that has been iglooo-like for the last three days! Am offf to order a Boiler Bleeder right now in case of any future issues :)
Good Man Pady you some Men
You can't do a proper service without a Flue Gas Analyser. Only guessing without one. FGA needs to be re-calibrated every year. Pump pressure needs to be correct for the fuel - i.e. about 9 bar for Kerosene C2 28 second oil - which is all modern condensing boilers are supposed to run on. Nozzle should be changed once a year and flexible oil line on condition. The nozzle must be the correct spray angle, spray pattern and flow-rate for the fuel and burner rating. Boiler flue needs to be up to normal operating temperature when taking the FGA readings. Baffle plates and combustion chamber need to be cleaned out completely. That's just the boiler - the storage tank also needs inspection.
Thank you sir got my firebird oil burner going thanks for the video
Freddie Bently absolute gentleman
a few F's and B's and the word "Nemesis" there and it would sound like Brick Top from Snatch giving the talk...lol..:)
good vid, sorted out my problem.....didnt need the device.....you can just bleed it into a cup from the valve..
I don't have that special bleeding device, but the process I followed successfully was outlined by Freddie in this video. Before, I was using the "return" instead of the "bleed". It is helpful to see a comparison of different types of equipment, and a summary of what they basically do. It is daunting how much variety of equipment is "in the field", and calling a service man out for a simple bleed is very expensive. It is also interesting to see the water and the bacteria in the jar of oil. We live close to the sea and are known for our harsh weather, so I am sure our oil tank is filling up with water... on the bottom!
Yes it worked!! Thanks! I've no idea where to get one of those bleed valves - yet - but a piece of hose pipe was enough to prevent me from redecorating the downstairs loo. The technical info and step by step procedure made sense and explained the whole thing brilliantly.
Thanks for your help. Got it going again.
Saved my day.. you are tage man
Thanks . The tech info was very helpful.
Very useful and thank you for sharing
Hope you can reply to my query when boiler runs to heat system and cuts out after 15 mins and locks out is it always the salanoid that is responsible please
How much to do a course on burner servicing please
Can't believe Anthony Hopkins is now a heater guy. Clarice
after the burner vid he will be having an old friend for dinner. With a fine Ci ante
Good informative video. However I was disappointed that you didn't show us how to check and adjust the oil pressure when you had the guage attached. I accidently moved the pressure adjuster, thinking it was the air bleed valve. I turned it back to what I think was the original position but I need to be more accurate
He used to drive a Black Cab! Proper geeza is Fred.
Where can I buy that univ Bleeder valve in the USA.?
Thanks a million. Was able to bleed my own boiler thanks to this.
aw you said you were gonna show us the gloves later on and you didnt LOL :D we moved into a house last December with an outdoor Tigerloop device - brilliant device. No more problem with bleeding when the tank runs dry. Do they also seperate water from the oil as well or is there another device for that?
mines a danfoss pump on an old nu way boxer burner-it sounds similar to this but a change of solinoid has not worked-it goes to fire up and then it sounds like a back draft and can get quite smoky but no ignition? any ideas welcome?
Thank you very much, your guidance helped me sort out my burner in minutes.
Thank you for the video appreciate it.
hi mayby you can show how regulate the air ? i have the same RDB in my house but drink to much carrosine..can you tell me how can i regulate air ? from 1 to 8 ? with one is best ? thanks

Thanks for your help got it going again 😎 Do you know that you sound like Brick Top from The film Snatch.
Nobody bothers their arse getting a proper service done, with all these procedures, they only call you when the boiler/burner stops working, at that stage it's usually too late and the burner needs replacing, people don't give a shit once there's heat, what they don't realise is they are probably using 25% more fuel when the equipment is not properly maintained, iv seen boilers so full of soot and crap that you have to scoop it out, the blast tube burned down to nothing, leaking oil lines, crumbling flues, boilers outside in bits covered in whatever is around, as I say they only call you when they stop.
I've a firebird that hasn't worked since the day it was installed. I live in a council house and we are NOT ALLOWED to touch it. We have to call out the council to repair it. Every time they come out they clean the filter and walk away. Runs maybe for a day or two and packs in again. It's not that people don't give A SHIT. Not in this case anyway. But then again it's only 17 YEARS since I reported mould and Cavan County Council still haven't dealt with it.
Cheer up Stephen.

I got an rdb I want t o know what pressure to set it for tractor diesel
noelieify 12 bar in most cases
brilliant, got it working in about 10 minutes, but my hands got very dirty :-(
Thank you so much - I followed your guidance and my heating is work again. Air in the pump, drained it twice till the fuel poured out solid and then it fired up. :)
Thank you SOOOOOO much Freddie! You enabled me to get my heating restored at a time I wouldn't have a chance in hell of getting a technician out! I really appreciate you putting in the time to make this video - thank you so much! :-)
